It is a pleasure to see a graphic designer like Remain3K have the patience & determination to own his craft and show the world the diversity of his artwork. We recently caught up with Remain3K to ask him a few questions about the industry.
With becoming a prominent graphic designer, how has your life changed?
Since becoming a prominent designer I feel like my clients listen to my opinion more. They value my opinion more. If I say something is whack they’ll give me room to be creative and make something dope! I started seeing much more behind design in everyday things like advertisements the way certain things are worded different colors used to attract different audiences or invoke certain feelings.
How do you think the COVID-19 pandemic altered the music industry?
I think it’s forcing people to be more creative. You can’t stick to the same formula for promo so it’s forcing artists and labels to think outside the box. Which is over all making the music better and the roll outs better.
Do you plan on working with more major celebrities in the future?
Yes of course. I plan on working with anyone who has the right budget. As long as I have faith in a project I can work on it. I really want to do something with drake in the next few years. That’s one of the artists I’ve yet to reach. But soon.
What would you tell upcoming graphic designers trying to make it in the industry?
Stay persistent. Stay consistent. Everyone’s gonna tell me how to run your brand how much to charge. Who to work with who not to work with. Do whatever you feel. Just make sure you create once a day just practice stay consistent. & stay persistent and don’t give up if you don’t get a certain placement. There are plenty more.
