New York’s Rell Briscoe Has Next

New York artist Rell Briscoe just released his new song Come Over just in time for the Summer. The young artist released a portfolio of singles in 2020 and is starting 2021 doing the same. This new song comes on the heels of Islands that he released earlier this year. Rell has been consistently making music over the last few years, and signs show he is not slowing down. We recently caught up with Rell Briscoe and asked him a few questions:

When you started making music, how has your life changed?

My life has changed a lot since I’ve started music, it has keep my focused on a good thing and kept me out bad situations. It made my peers respect me more because of the work I put in.

How do you think the COVID-19 pandemic altered the music industry?

I think that the Covid-19 pandemic altered the music industry by kind of forcing artists to find a different way of keeping an audiences attention and building fanbase. The pandemic turned the industry into fully remote where artist had to utilize the internet in order to keep going.

What current projects are you working on that we can expect in the future?

Currently, I am working on releasing another single at the end of June and a video for that song in July and possibly a small project in August.

What would you tell upcoming artists trying to make it in the music industry?

I would tell an upcoming artist to always stay focus on his own work and making sure they improve daily or weekly. I would also tell the artist to don’t watch another artists’ success and get discouraged but to see how they operate and try to study some of that and apply it to your work and see if it works for you as well.
