On Thursday (March 25), Ruby Recordings announced Moeschino has a new single set to be released on March 29th titled “Its My Time.” Preorder will be available at midnight! We recently caught up with Moeschino to ask him a few questions.

When you started making music, how has your life changed?

My life has changed a lot after I seen my cousin “LIL Mama” do a feature with Chris brown. It was around 2009 I went to one of her concerts and seen how lit it was. In my mind I was like this could be me. In 2013, I started taking music serious and the results led to me getting a chance to rap on Jack Thriller’s 16 or Better. Now, I’m on stages performing in front of big crowds. I performed my “Sun Dress” song at The Legendary SOBs and left with a lot of new supporters.

How do you think the COVID-19 pandemic altered the music industry?

Social media is the ticket to success now. COVID-19 was a boost for all upcoming artist like me. It was nothing to do but work on my craft and build relationships online. It made it easier to promote my music to the world, while I been focused on making sure my family was good at home.

What current projects are you working on that we can expect in the future?

I been in the studio writing a lot of music. I have a few songs already done. I been thinking bout making an EP, maybe even an album. That’s how I’m feeling right now, it’s my time to shine.

What would you tell upcoming artists trying to make it in the music industry?

Don’t listen to nobody but your self if it’s not constructive criticism. Prefect your craft and get to the bag. ITS YOUR TIME.
