Kurt Cocaine

Kurt Cocaine released his debut video Dangerous earlier this year. Since then, the Chicago rap artist has quietly been in the studio working on this debut album. This will be Kurt Cocaine’s first studio album, with plans on releasing it later this year. His new video is just a taste of what you can expect of the highly anticipated poject. We hope that his album is just as good as the video and gives listeners what they are wanting. We recently caught up with Kurt Cocaine and asked him his view on the industry.

With the release of your last two singles, how has your life changed?

After my releases I’ve had plenty of more eyes on me which is always nice, but I’m still way more excited for what I have to bring in the near future.

How do you think the COVID-19 pandemic altered the music industry?

Not really honestly.. but money wise, yes. I believe it’s taken it’s tole mainly with independent artists not being able to perform, record, ect. But I also think this is a great time for artists to take the advantage with the time they have on their hands during this pandemic.

Do you plan on releasing new music in the near future?

Yes, I plan on dropping a few singles with videos to build up to my upcoming project titled “OMNI”. The project will show the world I can compete and raise the bar in any genre of music. It will all make more sense as releases are dropped.

What would you tell upcoming artists trying to make it in the music industry?

To keep seeking knowledge. The more you know about the industry your in the better chance you have at winning the “game”. Seek knowledge in books and connects. Also, make sure you follow your spirit, and put your soul into this shit. Don’t let anybody tell you anything.

To keep up with Kurt Cocaine, you can follow him on on all social media @hisnameiskurt.
