Los Angeles artist Nick Von debuts his passion for music with his latest single Bad Type. After learning from many of the great artists and creators of this time, Nick has finally decided to fully immerse himself in his passion and go full creation mode. We recently caught up with Nick Von and asked him a few questions:

When you started making music, how has your life changed?

The ability to express yourself at a creative level is one of the best feelings I’ve ever had. My life has changed for the better. Anytime I have an emotion that I need to let out, I can connect with the vibration of sound to express this feeling.

How do you think the COVID-19 pandemic altered the music industry?

I think a lot more people started listening to music which is great for artists. It has definitely impacted shows in a very negative way, however, this allows artists to focus on their craft and make more records without any distractions.

What current projects are you working on that we can expect in the future?

I am working on quite a few new singles. Trying to go deep within myself and find the sound I am craving. I will be dropping quite a lot of music, so I am on a mission of creating those songs.

What would you tell upcoming artists trying to make it in the music industry?

Focus on the music. Become well connected. Know how to execute and how to link together your network for your benefit and the benefit of others. It’s not as simple as going to the studio, recording a song, and releasing it. It’s much more than that.
