Interview: Rap Artist Charlie Rothsteen
A true artist of many talents, Charlie Rothsteen found a love for written language through music. Charlie has amassed a huge fan base which has gained him over a million streams and counting. We recently caught up Rothsteen and asked him a few questions regarding his ongoing music career.
Who is your favorite artist to listen to right now and why?
The Weeknd, he makes timeless music with an unique Sound . Also he delivers it gimmick free.
When you started making music, how has your life changed?
When I started making music I was mostly in the streets . Music ultimately saved me from death and jail . My journey also allowed me to help my family and surrounding friends.
What current projects are you working on that we can expect in the future?
I’m putting the finishing touches on my second project for this year , I’m also setting to drop a single with Grammy award winning producer Zaytoven in the near future.
What would you tell upcoming artists trying to make it in the music industry?
My advice to upcoming artist trying to make it in the music industry is to stay fully committed, invest into yourself as often as possible. Once you’ve consistently done these things you have to remain patient and trust the process.
