FYB J Mane 2020

Chicago rap artist FYB J Mane hasn’t been quiet as of late. With the release of her latest single EBERHART, he is set to hit Summer ground running. EBERHART comes witht he release of FYB J Mane’s latest EP Covid Sixty Three. With more projects slated to release later this year, we caught up with FYB J Mane, and asked him a few questions.

When you started making music, how has your life changed?

I’ve been making music for over ten years now. My life changed when a lot of my childhood friends were murdered, which is talked about in my first album Tooka’s Revenge.

How do you think the death of George Floyd and the pandemic altered the music industry?

I believe the death of George Floyd and the pandemic altered the music industry in a way that we have never seen before. The pandemic completely stopped all shows and tours which made artists find another way to make revune as far as music streams music videos etc. The death of Mr. Floyd was heartbreaking for all Americans across the country, which led to artists speaking up about the situation and overly expressing the First Amendment right.

What current projects are you working on that we can expect in the future?

As of now I’m working on music videos for my new album dropping September 13, 2020 called No Face No Case. I am also working to push a few other artists with the help of my Youtube channel that has grown tremendously this past year.

What would you tell upcoming artists trying to make it in the music industry?

My word of advice to future upcoming artists would be consistency. Being consistent is attractive and is what helped me get to the point where I’m at now.
