Artist Camino Speaks on Music Industry

When you mix soul & country together you can come up with a good recipe for an artist. That is what you get with Jackson, MS native artist Camino. Camino is not new to the music industry, he had success working with some of the most influential musicians in the industry. Camino gained national attention with the release of his single “Riot” in 2017. Camino’s love for music show how he is committed to bringing good content to his fans. Looking forward with caught up with Camino, and asked him a few questions re his success and the music industry.

With the release of your last project, how has your life changed?

My life has changed in an amazing way. I’ve gained more opportunities to be able to do what I love and create. I’ve learned a lot these past few years and have grown as a person and artist.

How do you think the COVID-19 pandemic altered the music industry?

It may be too early for me to answer this question but I just pray for people’s health and well being. Please be safe and call your loved ones.

Do you plan on releasing new music in the near future?

Absolutely! New music is coming in the near future. I’ve been working hard in the studio to be able to say this with confidence.

What would you tell upcoming artists trying to make it in the music industry?

Work hard, be patient, take accountability and don’t give up on your dream. Make sure you always remember why you started making music and that feeling you get from it. There are going to be ups and downs but keep a strong mentality and foundation, and surround yourself with people that motivate and inspire you to push through.
