Ahna Mac

R&B songstress Ahna Mac has dropped the visual to her latest single No Rings. The New Jersey artist has been making music for some time now, and has gained fans from all over the world. No Rings comes on the heels of Maria, released earlier this year. Now with this latest single, Ahna Mac is making moves and gaining local attention. The well shot visual is a testament of the quality & consistency Ahna Mac brings with her music. We caught up with Ahna Mac and asked her a few questions about her music:

When you started making music, how has your life changed?

When I started making music it changed my life because I became more focused. It gave me something to live for, you know something to actually change myself. Music has impacted my life in a major way, I don’t know where I would be without it today.

How do you think the COVID-19 pandemic altered the music industry?

It honestly changed a lot before it was more showcased, it was more easier for me to get myself out there. However, since corona has shut everything down it’s kind a hard trying to get my name out there without meeting people. Social media has had a big influence on the music industry ever since Covid has started.

What current projects are you working on that we can expect in the future?

I am currently working on a cover project and I was also thinking about working on my very first EP. I have a bunch of songs I just haven’t figured out what I really want to do with the EP. What I’m gonna do so for now is just be dropping singles and music videos so you guys stay in tune.

What would you tell upcoming artists trying to make it in the music industry?

I would tell them to keep their head strong. That they can be independent but they can’t make it in this industry without a team for her behind them. I know a lot of people want to be independent and they can, but make sure they have a good management and team. Because you can’t make it nowhere in this industry alone. I will also tell them to use social media more, send music send out in emails & do as much as possible.
